INTRODUCTION

The IR distance learning program is composed of:

  • A 3 days “initial training” to be attended in Rungis/Orly
  • Personal work on a two volumes textbook (printed or digital version)
  • Personal work on our e-learning platform
  • 15 online evaluation tests
  • Access to our online MCQ tests database

You’ll also be provided with a personalised follow-up all along the program that enable candidates to contact our pool of instructors for any technical or educational question.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Hold a valid PPL(A) or PPL(H), or any valid professional pilot license (A or H)

TRAINING PROGRAM

The IR(A) training program is composed of 7 courses:

  • 010 Air law
  • 022 Instrumentation
  • 033 Flight planning and monitoring
  • 040 Human performance
  • 050 Meteorology
  • 062 Radionavigation
  • 090 Communication
OBJECTIVES

The objective is to get the IR(A) theoretical certificate.

New / Rendez-vous du mois: The Institut MERMOZ includes a monthly webinar in your training. This webinar is accessible on registration, limited to 30 places. It will allow you to deepen your knowledge on a given topic. You will regularly receive the webinar schedule by email.

NUMBER OF TRAINEES

The maximum number of trainee is limited to 32 per initial training.

DURATION

18 months maximum

Terms

It is mandatory that trainees follow up a complete and satisfactory training program to be able to undertake the DGAC exams.

rainees must attend the full Initial Training module and have to undertake remote tests so their knowledge can be checked all along the program.

Permission to undertake the official DGAC exams will be provided by the Institut MERMOZ head teacher according to the results to the remote tests.
