IR(H) – Distance learning

INTRODUCTION

The IR(H) distance learning program is composed of:

  • A three days initial training module to be made in our premises at Rungis/Orly
  • Personal work based on our 2 volumes textbook (printed or digital version)
  • Personal work based on our educational ressources
  • 15 tests to be made on our e-learning platform
  • A series of MCQ tests to prepare for the exam in best conditions

You are also provided with a personalised follow-up all along the program that enables you to ask questions to a dedicated pool of instructors.

TRAINING PROGRAM

The IR(H) training program is made of 7 different courses:

  • 010 Air law
  • 022 Instrumentation
  • 033 Flight planning and monitoring
  • 040 Human performance
  • 050 Meteorology
  • 062 Radionavigation
  • 092 IFR Communications
OBJECTIVES

The objective is to pass the 7 IR(H) theoretical exams.

NUMBER OF TRAINEES

The number of trainees is limited to 30 per training session.

DURATION

18 months maximum

Terms

It is mandatory that trainees follows-up the full training program to be able to undertake the official DGAC exams.

Trainees must attend the full Initial Training module and have to undertake remote tests so their knowledge can be checked all along the program.

Permission to undertake the official DGAC exams will be provided by the Institut MERMOZ head teacher according to the results to the remote tests.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION
  • Hold a PPL(A/H) or a valid CPL(A/H)

  • From Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th, February 2020 – FULL
  • From Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th, June 2020
  • From Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th September 2020
  • From Monday 30th November to Friday 11th, December 2020
